Janelle found a foster home
Janelle left today with a new foster home until Sophie finds her a permanent home. Here is Janelle’s story…

My name is Janelle and I am a poor ol’ 8 year old looking for a new home. I was given up by my family and because I caught Kennel Cough at the shelter, I was going to be euthanized because I became a bit grumpy and was no longer the nice little ol’ lady who came in 2 weeks prior. So I was rescued by Sophie’s Dog Adoption in order to receive treatment and find a new home.
I am a very sweet little girl, but due to my age, kids would not be recommended. As we get older, we tend to get grumpier and don’t have as much patience with kids as we used to!
I would love to live with a retired couple or person, as a mellow lifestyle is what I am looking for. I am very active still for my age and would be a great walking companion to help someone stay in shape.
